Christmas Pudding Money Box

Christmas Pudding Money Box

All I used to create these christmas pudding money boxes was:

-Plain Round Bisque Money Box
-Americana Acrylic Paint
-DecoArt Twinkles Writers
-DecoArt Snow Tex

I began by using a pencil to create an outline of where i was going to paint the cream and holly on top. I then used two shades of brown Americana Acrylic paint to create the bottom half of the pudding and used black to add the raisons.

With the top left pudding I mixed white and yellow acrylic together to create the cream and red and green for the holly and ivy. To add depth I used Americana Acrylic Writers and thickly outlined the berries, then used DecoArt Twinkle writers to outline the leaves.

For the top right pudding I applied a thick layer of  DecoArt Snow Tex to the top half of the pudding, avoiding the holly and ivy outline. I then used American writer and applied a thick layer to the leaves and berries, again outlining with DecoArt Twinkle Writers. This time including to outline the cream with a thick layer of gold writer so it starts to run doen the sides.
