DIY Halloween and Christmas Window Decals/Clings/Stickers Using DecoArt Acrylic Paint

Make Your Own Window, Glass, Mirror Decorations

Window clings are a fun and simple craft project that can be used to dress up or embellish:  mirrors, glass furniture, shower doors or even car, house or shop windows!

You will need:
  • An assortment of DecoArt Americana Paints
  • Pictures of the design pattern you want to make - we chose Halloween as our theme.  Use printed images, photographs or colouring books.
  • Transparent paper, clear page protectors e.g. poly pockets
Steps:
  1. Place the transparency paper or page protector over your chosen pattern. The picture is only a guide for painting.
  2. Outline, colour, blend and create your design using the picture underneath as a guide.
  3. Depending on the amount of paint used, let your design dry for about 24-48 hours.
  4. After it is dry, your completed artwork will peel right off the page protector background. Peel off with care as the artwork will be delicate.
  5. It is now ready to stick to windows, mirrors or any other glass surface.

Note:  If you decide to move your cling, remove with care, starting from the edges.
