Plastic Bottle Snowflakes - DIY Handmade Christmas Decorations

Plastic bottle snowflake decorations or ornaments DIY.

Use recylable materials or items from your waste/rubbish bins to make useful Christmas designs



All you need is an empty plastic bottle, a paint brush, and some paints (I used DecoArt craft twinkles, DecoArt dazzling metallics and Americana acrylic paint for this one).




Now carefully cut around
the bottom on the bottle  
(about 2.5cm from the
 bottle) until you are left with
just the stand of the bottle,
shown below.





Now begin decorating your
christmas shape any way you like,
I started by using the DecoArt craft
twinkles as a base using a paint bruch. Then 
adding white americana acrylic by using the
handle end of the paint brush to create dots.
Then finally adding some of the  DecoArt
metallics for an extra shine.
